Current Scenario of M.Tech in India
In India, A.I.C.T.E. is the authoritative body for technical education. As per their norms, this post graduate educational program is, generally, done in a period of 2 years. Some of the Indian universities even conduct M. Tech programs that are featured with 3 years’ duration. Besides these, some of the institutes offer 3 years’ weekend M. Tech courses as well. In spite of being an engineering degree, such a post graduation is done in the technical field.
Students who have the degree of the Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) or the Bachelor of Engineering (B. E.) that is a 4 year program are eligible to enroll themselves for M.
